Ryan is working on his smile

Ryan makes some pretty silly faces especially when he wakes up. He grunts, moans and makes some funny faces before letting out a special good morning fart! Then he gets happy and tries to make silly faces. His favourite expression is his ‘OOOH’ face. Sometimes he tries to make that expression when it is time to eat – almost like it is some way of making fun of us. Sort of like “you can’t make me open wide!”

Here he is trying to tease us that he can’t open his mouth wide when it is time to eat! He is already a little devil.
And then a very strong effort to smile and grin.

Remember to check out our photo section for the most up to date photos and keep writing comments here.

Obaki will read this many years later and will want to know that you cared and visited often.

I kind of had a hunch that today was the day because she was so close to her due date and the bloody show and increasing cramping were all good signs. But we decided to continue on with our day rather than sit around waiting for things to happen.

Grace met up with her friend Tamara to go for a walk. I didn’t really want to intrude so I decided to go for my own walk -across a golf course. (I was certainly checking in regularly with Grace throughout the day to make sure that she didn’t go into active labor). The golf game was pretty cool – but that’s not what this story is about.

Obaki stresses out while eating!

Not only does he stress out but he also turns all red like Grampa Wood. I can only imagine what Obaki’s laugh will be like!

I asked Ryan if maybe he could chill out a bit more while eating. This was his response…
