Madeline loves the summer!!  There is so much to do..

I’ve always loved videos of babies eating.  Madeline on one hand is quite the messy eater – you may notice that there are quite a few videos of her eating.  That is partly due to the fact that I can’t believe someone can possibly be this messy.  The watermelon video sets a new standard of messy.  Here are two videos!

Madeline loves going to the garden. 
At the garden she gets to wear daddy’s sunglasses which makes her feel cool.

She also gets to hang out with her brother who likes to tease her with her favorite food from the garden…STRAWBERRIES!!

When Ryan was quite young we bought him this cool red car.  It was a huge hit, not only for Ryan but for all of the kids in the neighborhood.  It was a very popular car!  When the nice weather in Vancouver started I brought out the red car again.  It wasn’t it good shape and it took quite a bit of glue to hold it together again (I used Gorilla Glue!).  After all of that, Madeline loves the red car and asks every day to either go in it or to push it herself.

As you probably know when your kid has a birthday it doesn’t just mean their own birthday.  It also means all of their friends will have birthday parties and you will be going to birthday party after birthday party.  Ryan was invited to Stella’s birthday party – they rented out Play Palace and invited our entire family. 

It was quite a party and Madeline was going nuts – not just on the bouncy castle.  She loved going up and down the slide and just the whole party atmosphere.  Here is a quick video of her enjoying the bouncy castle.
