Madeline loves her daycare. Once a week she has music class ‘Music with Chris’ and always comes home with a new song to sing for us. She wanted to share her song with everyone (or at least the videocamera).

Thanksgiving
We’ve tried to make it a tradition to take a photo every fall of our family enjoying the leaves (it’s a tradition if you do it more than once, correct?). Anyway, it is tough with kids to get everyone looking pretty, to set up the tripod and to find a nice place for the photo. Anyway, we got a good photo which we ended up using as our Christmas card that year. Also, here are a couple of photos of our Canadian Thanksgiving (another tradition!)

Janey comes for a visit
My good friend Janey Choi from New York City who I haven’t seen in almost a decade came out to Vancouver for a visit. She brought her new baby and Madeline loved seeing her. Actually, at one point Janey’s baby found a marble and none of us noticed. Madeline made sure to tell all of us that the baby had picked up a marble and that it wasnt’ safe….good Maddie!

Madeline is a princess
Madeline is a typical girl – she wants to be a princess. One of Ryan’s best friends is Ella (our neighbour) and has become very good friends with Madeline. She is actually a great balance between Ryan and Madeline and plays great with both of them. We were over at Peter & Bosun’s (Ella’s parents) for a party and Madeline and Ella wanted to play ‘dress up’.
