The other day Grace, Madeline, Daddy and Ryan were all at the beach with our friend Maddie. While sitting at this ‘hip’ beach we noticed some people doing acrobatics. You can see from this photo what they were doing.
After watching them for a bit Madeline wanted to try and do the same thing with daddy and Ryan. Here is her version.

We took a nice trip to LA to visit all of Grace’s family and to celebrate Tyler’s birthday party. It was great for everyone to get together and for all of the family to hear Madeline talk. We took lots of photos.

When we were in LA mommy and Ryan had a special day planned at Knottsberry Farm (amusement park) with his cousin Tyler and Esther. Not to be outdone daddy and Madeline wanted to go to the aquarium to check out the fish, sharks and penguins.

One of the things we have started to figure out with having two kids is that they are much better behaved when not together. One nice evening Mommy and Ryan went out to be together while daddy and Madeline spent it at the beach. Madeline was being very cute and had a lot of fun playing in the sand.

Ryan and Madeline both love the library. The only difference between the two kids is Ryan can read and Madeline can’t (she’s only two…give her a break!). But, Madeline loves trying to be like her big brother Ryan. When Ryan is at the library he basically takes it over and lies down to read anywhere he can find – right there, in the middle of the floor. Madeline, of course, has to copy him.
