We really wanted to be in Moncton to celebrate Baba’s 70th birthday but couldn’t make it. It really is the busiest time of year for Grace and I and there is no chance we can get away. We decided to sing her happy birthday on video and wanted to share it here on our blog.

Madeline just started attending her new ‘big girl’ daycare center Acadia on April 1st. This daycare center is for kids ages 3-5. The children here are so sweet and immediately took Madeline under their wings and welcomed her. And after only a few days Madeline got to celebrate her 3rd birthday at Acadia. They went all out and had a special celebration where the kids looked at pictures of Madeline at each of her past birthdays and read a story to her. The followed this up with her a Happy Birthday song and cake. Here’s some photos and a video.

We decided to throw Madeline a big birthday party at a gym for her 3rd birthday. One of her best buddies, Roman was moving to Toronto at the March, so we decided to have the party 3 weeks before her actual birthday. Madeline has been absolutely crazy about Frozen and wanted mommy and daddy to make a Frozen cake. Once again, daddy the cake master did a fabulous job of making the yummy cake and the ice which was a tricky experiment. However, as we all know, mommy was the visionary behind the whole cake idea!!!
We used Madeline’s Frozen figurines to decorate the top of the cake and it turned out looking amazing and most importantly, Madeline LOVED it! Madeline got dressed up in her pink tutu and was so excited all day to have her big party.
