As you will see in many of the photos – Madeline has crazy hair.  We love it!  It is very wild, very unpredictable and never the same twice.  She gets so much attention for her hair. 

One day, daddy decided to try and flatten her hair to see what it would look like.

Madeline has a constant visitor in her crib – her brother, Ryan.  He loves to crawl into her crib and hang out with her – turn on the mobile or just roll around and try to entertain his sister.  Madeline really loves her brother!

As parents we have been to a lot less parent/infant groups.  It just seems as though there is less time in a day with multiple kids.  In that sense Ryan had a few more play dates than Madeline has.  On July 1st we had some friends over for a BBQ (on the new picnic table that daddy built).

We’ve been having some fun comparing photos of Ryan and Madeline and when Madeline’s hair is wet Ryan likes to look at her and say “look, it’s Ryan!”  Anyway, when we took this photo of Madeline in the bath we can’t believe how much she looks like Ryan did at that age.

It’s been fun having a girl baby – we feel like we can dress her up more.  Here we’ve tried putting her in a hat.    Doesn’t she look cute?
