You’re how old?

Madeline has to keep up with her older brother.  She loves watching him and wants to do whatever he does so she makes an incredible effort to try and push herself.  Here are some photos of her lifting herself up.

It wouldn’t be Ryan if he couldn’t get in the photo somehow.

We had sold Ryan’s highchair pretty quickly as it took up a lot of space in our house.  Living in Vancouver – space comes a premium so we were very quick to sell the highchair.  Anyway, after much consideration we decided to buy a new high chair.    (photo below)

After only a few hours in the chair Grace spent a bit of time on Craigslist and found a used highchair (the exact same one that we had used for Ryan).  So, in many of the photos to come it might look like the same highchair but it isn’t.

Obviously, we have saved many of the same toys that Ryan used to play in for Madeline.  This way, we can try to see if we can’t get her to play with things sooner – get the most bang for the buck!  It is kind of difficult to entertain a young child so we’ve been excited to get her into the exersaucer.  Here is some photos and a video

This really shouldn’t be explained but just seen.  Madeline has been trying to roll over for quite some time.  She succeeds at rolling over but not in the way you would expect.  Check it out!
