I usually try to bring a small gift when I return from my concerts for the kids.  This time I brought a small stroller for Madeline.  When I picked up the stroller I didn’t know that she had already taken her first steps.

She loved the stroller from day 1.   She knew to put the baby in the stroller and laughed every time she walked with the stroller.  Check out the video.

Madeline has been growing up so fast.  It seems like just the other day we were posting about her learning how to crawl.  Now she has started walking!  This happened when I was away playing some concerts in Virginia so I missed it but when I got back I was there to still witness the joy of her figuring it all out.

Madeline’s new thing has been to let go and to balance while standing.  She’s getting more confident every
day.  Grace caught a video of her trying out her balancing without holding on for one of her first times.

Madeline looks up to Ryan.  She loves doing everything he does.  Ryan loves this (most of the time) and loves to make things fun for her.  Here are some photos of them in the bath pretending to cuddle.

It is very different having a girl from having a boy.  We were very excited to put Madeline in pigtails for the very first time.  I think she liked it!
