I am almost one now – I can walk, I can pose and I know how to look cute on my own.

I thought that this posting would be more appropriate on Ryan’s blog but then I thought that he might not like this video as much when he gets older so I thought I would keep it on Madeline’s blog.  The reason Ryan is wearing his fleece PJs is because the night before he insisted on wearing the same pajamas as Madeline when he went to bed.

In the morning we were playing some music and they both started dancing.  I couldn’t believe what I was seeing so I turned on the video camera so I could capture the moment forever.

Check it out.   Somehow it is cute, funny, and awkward all at the same time.

Mado, is Madeline’s nickname – we always thought it would be Maddie (and it still might) but at home we call her Mado or Madol depending on our mood.

She is quite a silly girl, just like her brother.  Here are a few photos to give you an example of the silly girl she is.

Madeline has many similarities to Ryan. Actually, when she is in the bath and we pour water of her head Ryan always says “RYAN!” because she looks so much like Ryan did at that age.

Both Ryan and Madeline love our hallway – I’m pretty sure all of our neighbors hate this about us but everytime Ryan and Madeline get in our hallway it is party time.  Madeline makes so much noise – she is constantly saying “Dada Dada!” and looking for Ryan?

Madeline is obviously very impressed with her new shoes and immediately decided to show them off to everyone.  I have to say that she loves wearing sneakers but nothing tops her red boots.  Actually, when Madeline wants to go out she’ll bring her boots to me and basically drop them at my feet.  At first I had no idea what she was doing so I just picked them up and put them away – she got really mad and went to get them again, dropped them at my feet and said DA!!!
