Ryan has been practicing his monkey bars.  His friend Ella has been a strong influence on Ryan wanting to master the monkey bars.  Here we are at the playground in LA.  This is a short video of Ryan’s monkey bar attempt.

One day after picking Ryan up from daycare we went through his creation from clipboard time (the time when the kids rest or create things on their clipboards).  We didn’t catch the importance of what Ryan had written until we looked at this for a few moments.  Can you figure out what Ryan wrote to Santa?

The photo on the left is what I sported all month and the last two are just photos of me having fun!

For a long time Ryan hated getting water on his face in the bath.  It came to the point that it seemed like he was scared of water or putting his face in the water.  We decided to sign him up for swimming lessons and everything changed.  He became obsessed with dunking his head under water.  This is at Berwick centre, a really small but great swimming pool.

He’s been excelling at his swimming lessons and looks forward to it twice a week after school.

As I’m sure everyone already knows we like to do a family shot for our Christmas card.  We really tried to be on top of it this year.  The leaves were so beautiful in front of our house we decided to do a little photoshoot.  We literally went halfway across the street and in the middle of the street are a bunch of maple trees.  We took the majority of our photos here.
