Now that Sohm has graduated and moved to Burnaby it is a lot harder for the two kids to get together to play.  Although Ryan and Sohm don’t see each other that often they are still good friends and we try to arrange a play date once a month.  We thought it would be a good idea for the two of them to meet and play at Granville Island.

Ryan is very excited to get his own booster seat (we told him he had to be 40 pounds first) so he is eating up a storm!  We bought a new car seat for Madeline a while back.  In the photo you see both kids look happy, what is hard to tell is that they both switched car seats!

Ryan and Ella are great friends.  They played at the playground all of the time – almost every day.  They both like to hang from the monkeybars – this is a cute photo of the two of them having fun!

and of course, Ryan had to ruin the next photo by turning around and telling Ella to smell his bum!

On our way to Hornby Island we stopped in Victoria so that daddy could rehearse with his pianist.  While daddy was busy rehearsing mommy took the kids to the bug museum.   We had heard great things about the bug museum in Victoria and it did not disappoint.  Here are some photos from the bug museum.

Ryan has had his new lego table for a few months now and is starting to get pretty serious about his building.  Lego’s have really helped change the way Ryan plays.  When he gets into his Lego zone we can get up to an hour of freedom while he is quietly playing at the table.
