Last year we uploaded one of my favorite videos.  It was a video of Ryan stuffing his face with blueberries while we were blueberry picking (here’s a link) .  This year we told Ryan he couldn’t eat any of the blueberries while we were picking.  He was being such a good boy that I actually started to feel bad and told him to go ahead and eat them.

Here is a video of Ryan learning how to pick blueberries and helping us pick a bunch (we picked over 50 pounds this year!).

Baba flew out to Vancouver to spend some time with us.  It was great to have her here and the kids had a blast!  Ryan was very very excited to get some introductory lessons on the violin and listened to Baba very carefully on exactly what to do.

Ryan was very comfortable with Baba and had no problem just going off with her to the mall!  Isn’t that a sweet picture?  Ryan really wanted to show Baba everything he could do from riding his bike to skating.

When Baba came up for a visit I asked her to bring Ryan my old violin (that I started on when I was 4).  Ryan was very excited to play it and to learn from Baba.  They had a really good time together and Ryan wanted me to video tape his work on his first few days.  Unfortunately, for this video Ryan doesn’t really play anything for us!

Ryan has a couple of friends/neighbors kids that are a year older that he likes to play with.  Our next door neighbor Felix and another neighbor just down the street Emily are two kids that Ryan has fun with.  In this video you can see the three of them having a blast with a pillow fight in our bedroom.

Who likes going to the dentist?  Certainly, not me!  But with that said, taking care of your teeth is very important.  Ryan has been an angel about going to the dentist and in some ways actually gets a kick out of it.
