We won’t say how old she is but it doesn’t matter because my wife is like a good cheese – gets better with age. (and grows mold?? – nope, that will never work!)
..ok. that doesn’t work. She’s like a fine wine, once you cork it, it doesn’t get any better.

…nope – still kind of sucks. Anyway, my wife is beautiful, awesome and amazing and I am one lucky camper to be able to have someone like her in my life. Here are some photos from the day.

The kids are so excited to celebrate Mommy and Daddy day. They did ask when they get their own celebration day for which I didn’t have a good answer. Madeline made a special gift for mommy and Ryan made a birdhouse himself (with a little help from his kindergarten teacher) for mommy on this special day. We surprised mommy in her bed with breakfast and gifts! What a way to start a day!!

One of Madeline’s daycare teachers at Chuva, Jennifer got married and asked Madeline to be her flower girl. When she asked back in November 2013, we didn’t even hesitate to say yes. Jennifer has always adored Madeline and Madeline love her so much that it wasn’t even a question. Madeline was so excited to finally wear the beautiful princess dress on the day of the wedding. Mommy took Madeline to the rehearsal the before the wedding and was worried that she wasn’t going to walk down the aisle. However, when the actual day came, Madeline did a great job and looked absolutely adorable. We did a whole routine of pampering getting ready for the big day. Madeline got her hair brushed, styled, and sparkled by mommy and looked like the most precious doll! Of course, mommy had very high expectations and wanted everything to go perfect and was very disappointed when Madeline refused to take photos with the wedding party. However, all in all, mommy and daddy were proud of Madeline for looking so adorable walking down the aisle.
After the ceremony, we went to the reception at a Chinese restaurant. What a fun night that was. It was a 10 course meal which involved non-stop eating for mommy and daddy (although we had to leave early to put the kiddies to sleep). The MC’s were so funny and Jennifer had about 5 outfit changes which got Madeline really interested. The cake pop they had incredibly yummy and although the MC’s said that we could each have only one, mommy, daddy, Ryan and Madeline for sure had at least two each. So yummy!

It is hard to believe that 40 came so quickly but whatever –it is here! Grace threw an incredible party that was hosted at our friend Peter’s bar Displace. A lot of close friends came together for food and drinks and the kids were invited. We set up a big screen tv with chairs and they all watched ‘Frozen’. It gave us all a chance to chat and drink. A lot of the guests had great things to say and it was a very special event! Here are some photos from the party!
