In order to understand why the kids like to say “My Carrot” you need to see this video. Anyway, the kids were at the Korean grocery store and saw some big carrots and thought back to the Parksville ‘My Carrot’ that Madeline said.

Mommy Daughter bond
What is one of the great things as a mother when having a daughter? Dressing up your kids! When Grace was in Hawaii she bought a matching dress with Madeline. Here they are posing in it!

New Year’s Eve 2013
It has become a tradition to celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Carpenter family. The kids look forward to drinks and music (juice and crazy kids songs). They also love the sparklers that we let them hold outside.
On this particular New Year’s Eve we had a few drinks and the kids had their equivalent -sugar. Here they are partying to Gangam Style. Maddie puts on some great moves in the video below!

Millenium Falcon
Ryan has been a big supporter of Lego and Star Wars. I was going to use the word fan but knowing how much Lego costs I think he is responsible for keeping that company profitable! One of his gifts this Christamas was the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars. The deal was that he had to build it himself. It took him about 3 days but he got it done! Daddy did help once or twice but most of it was on his own! Here are the photos.
