This year daddy wanted to make some cool pumpkins.  For the first pumpkin Ryan wanted daddy to carve out the scary image.  We had a few stencils but Ryan insisted on the scary one.  Here it is:

Both mommy & daddy wanted to have another pumpkin that wasn’t so scary so daddy carved another one (this time without a stencil).  In the end, I have to say the non-stencil was much better.  What do you think?

Daddy has been practicing a lot more the last few weeks and has been practicing more at home.  When Ryan comes and sees daddy practicing he insists on trying to play the violin.  Ryan’s favorite thing is to take the bow and make that nasty sound behind the bridge.  He gets a real kick out of it!
