Ryan tries to feed himself

We were hearing from some of Ryan’s mummy friends that their babies were showing an interest in feeding themselves.  So, today we gave him the spoon to give it a try.  We were very excited to see that he knew what to do.  Check out our video.

The weather has been amazing lately!!

What beautiful weather we have been having – absolutely amazing.  We are now able to go out and enjoy the park with Ryan – it was kind of hard last summer when Ryan was 2 months old to enjoy the park like we can now.

We got some pretty cool photos of Ryan playing in the grass and some fun shots on the swing.  Ryan was also really interested in the grass.  When he was sitting on the grass he would be so fascinated with every blade of grass or little thing he could find.  He’s been pretty good about not eating things on the ground – not perfect, but he doesn’t put absolutely everything in his mouth!

Walking is fun(ny!)

I have to say that I love Ryan’s walking stage.  We get a lot of laughs and it’s been a lot of fun watching Ryan figure things out.  We have two video clips for you to check out.

You can’t hide that from me!

The other day it was my turn to give Ryan a bottle.  I decided to go ahead and mix it a bit before offering it to him.  I mixed it when he was off playing so he wouldn’t notice it.  Then I set it down on the table beside our couch.  A few minutes later I went in the bathroom to clip my nails and I heard this drinking sound.  I thought that was kind of weird so this is what I saw.

I guess Ryan had seen the bottle, picked it up and decided that now was the time to drink the bottle.  I also like the way he uses the edge of the side table to help him angle the bottle properly.
