All I want for Christmas are my 2 front teeth

It has seemed that Ryan has been teething for quite some time.  Now that he is 7 months we knew it would come soon.  On Christmas day when I was making my phone call rounds I was talking to Heather.  Ryan was getting a bit restless so he started chewing on my hand when all of a sudden it hurt like heck!!  He was trying to tell me something – he now had a tooth.

 

I don’t have a picture of his tooth because Ryan is a bit shy with opening his mouth to show it off but it is there.  He is growing up so fast!!

Ryan is growing up so fast

We have been noticing some tremendous changes with Ryan lately.  His way of interacting with toys has totally changed.  He grabs at things now, he can turn over, he reaches for our food and makes some really interesting sounds.  The new sounds are really quite something -maybe I will get it on tape someday.

 

We haven’t been the best at taking lots of photos so we are making more of an effort to update the blog and keep all of you updated with what he is up to. We do need to say a big thank you to Derek for suggesting that we buy an exersaucer.  Ryan loves it and it really is a great toy for him.

Ryan is now a US Citizen!!

Obaki is a US Citizen and daddy is jealous!  In his first few months he has accomplished so much.   He has a Canadian passport, a Nexus pass, a social insurance number, and US citizenship.  We are working on a US passport but that should come soon.  Pretty fast stuff for just four months!
