Ryan has been pretty obsessed with the moon recently.  He will go out of his way (and usual with a lot of excitement) to show you where the moon is.  Ryan didn’t really get to see the moon very much because either he was too young to know what it was (last year) or it didn’t get dark enough for him to see it.  The last few weeks he has been able to see the moon and has been very excited.

Tonight was the first time for him to see the full moon.  It was quite something.

When Ryan first saw the moon tonight (he calls it –mmmmmmnn) he couldn’t stop laughing.  I don’t know why???  Anyway, when I showed it to him when we got home I was able to capture this on the video.  Check it out:

This morning we met up with some friends to check out the UBC Farm.  It’s a small farm with a farmer’s market on the weekend.  We ended up seeing some really cool stuff.  It was a perfect fall day –slightly cold but bright and sunny.  Check out our photos.

It has begun.  NHL season has returned and this year they have a new fan – OBAKI

He told me yesterday that the Canucks are going to win it all, but then they went on to lose their first game.  But I will have some faith in Ryan’s prediction.

Ryan has certainly started imitating us more and more.  Just today, he decided to take a little walk in daddy’s shoes.  He has already taken a few walks in mommy’s boots last week.  In the video of him trying on mommy’s shoes he does have a bit of difficulty.  But with that said – he did get it a few days before this video, we just didn’t have the camera ready.
