Ryan goes for the alphabet Olympic experience

As we posted a while ago that Ryan really liked his fridge alphabet game.  He likes to get up in the morning and test himself.  Lately, he has been asking me to test him on his alphabet.

In this video, Ryan gets all of his alphabets correct except for ‘K’  and ‘U’.  I think Ryan still has trouble telling the difference between U and V.  Anyway, he gets pretty excited to play this game.

Canada wins GOLD!!

We were eating dinner during the race, and kept the tv on for the downhill moguls.  It was very exiting to watch.  We saw the race that won the gold medal after dinner and we both cheered like mad crazy.  After that race we were able to watch some pair figure skating as Ryan got ready for his bath (that’s why he is naked).

Ryan is at that stage now where he imitates almost everything.  If you look at the tv screen in the picture you will see Ryan is trying to copy what they are doing.  I have to admit that figure skating has never been so much fun (or funny!).

Who are you talking to daddy?  Let’s go play!!

Date Night

Mommy and Daddy wanted to have a date night right before Valentine’s Day.  We asked Reanne (from Coho, his last daycare place) to come over and take care of Ryan for the evening.  Ryan absolutely loves Reanne and they had a blast together!

Mommy and Daddy went out for some Thai food – this was during the Olympic’s Opening Ceremonies.  And luckily where we were traveling,  the streets were completely empty.  It was amazing!  That is the way things should be in Vancouver more often.

We were able to have a great time and snapped a few photos.

Potty training can be fun

Ryan has started peeing in his potty.  It’s not like he is potty trained yet but he will pee in the potty, or let us know when he wants to pee in the potty.  He is especially good at peeing in the potty right before bed (as a way to avoid going to bed)…..He keeps saying “More Pee Pee!”.  This hasn’t been especially fun but it has gotten better lately.  Here are some pictures of Ryan being Ryan.
