We have been trying to catch a lot of Ryan’s firsts on video tape. We’ve been pretty lucky so far especially with his laughter. When it came time to feed Ryan for the first time we got out the camera and set it up to record this big event. Unfortunately, our battery was dead so we didn’t capture it on camera.
The shocking thing about Ryan’s first time eating was his forcefulness with which he grabbed our hands. I don’t think this video captures the desire he had to eat real food. I was holding the spoon and was in awe at his power to almost pull it out of my hand. What you can see from this video is his desire to want to eat like the big boys. He is always reaching out at the spoon.
In this video (his second time eating solids) he trusts us more that we will continue to feed him the good stuff. We look forward to the many enjoyable firsts that are to come.
