Ryan has lots of friends and it has always been a challenge how to celebrate his birthday with them all. If you throw a huge party none of them end up spending any time with Ryan. We had a pretty good idea this year (ok. Grace had a great idea). We decided to throw an all-boys party, a Star Wars themed party for Ryan (you can read about that party here). If we were going to throw an all-boys party for Ryan what would happen to his special friends that were girls. Well, we decided that on his home party (on his actual birthday) we would invite his closest two female friends (neither are girlfriend like so don’t go there – he has a girl he likes…let’s just say Grace doesn’t approve so she wasn’t invited!!) Ella and Julia have been close friends with Ryan since forever. They also both play great with Madeline so it was a no-brainer for us. What we did end up noticing is that Ryan plays quite differently with girls around
